Fitted from the W463 and some W461 this thicker muffler was fitted. But these thicker dampers cannot be mounted on a W460, unless some minor welding is done on your G . This type of silencer mounted up to and including the G 400.

When mounting large and coarse all-terrain tires, this shock absorber is an absolute must! As described, with some minor welding, it also fits on a W460 and the former W461. Personally, I have been using this type of heavy-duty damper for years on my off-road G with Simex tires. As a result, I no longer have steering wheel vibrations.
