Dif lock cylinder overhaul kit G class W460 & W461

This is an overhaul kit to overhaul 1 cylinder. This is the cylinder you can control from the inside with the "pull button" which is located next to the gearbox handle high/low speed.

These cylinder(s) are easy to disassemble and open (via a circlip) and should be overhauled like a brake cylinder. A complete new locking cylinder for the MB costs about € 250 !

The set includes: 1 dustcover, 2 cups which are on the aluminium housing and 1 rubber which brings the oil into the pump. The aluminium housing and the cast iron housing are for cleaning, honing and re-use, but usually this is damage free, it's always the 2 cups that leak internally or externally. All 4 rubber parts are ORIGINAL FAG as assembled at the factory, so NO REPRO PARTS !

Often it is these parts that cause your locking device not to work or that you have to "pump up" the pressure instead of the cylinder that directly engages.

There is a very extensive manual included how everything has to be overhauled step by step, so no problem for the do-it-yourself!  Manual of course in english !
